Susan Stewart worked in Corporate America for more than 25 years before she left to join her husband Mike in building their Internet businesses. My experience in procurement, office organization and management helped us to start Soundpages.com, after closing the Advertising Recording Studio business that Mike had owned for more than 20 years. Soundpages.com started as a web design company assisting local businesses to gain a web presence in the late 90′s.  It has now become a worldwide endeavor with many mini-sites which sell web design, hosting, merchant accounts, advertising, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), training programs, production music, software and audio/video hardware products.

Mike is a Speaker and Trainer who teaches people how to put audio & video on their websites as well as shows them how to have control over the updating of content on their sites. The experience of traveling around the world to events has given us the insight to what local small businesses really need in a website.

As a single mother new to Atlanta in 1987, I needed a way to meet new people. A business acquaintance told me about networking groups so I joined a local chapter of ABWA (American Business Woman’s Association). As an active member I helped organize fund raising events such as fashion shows, wine tastings and product sales which the chapter used the funds to give scholarships to deserving people.

Mike & I have been actively attending seminars, events, and networking meetings since starting Soundpages.com. Our oldest son Michael owns an Internet business http://directhorizon.com/ which is a hosting solution and the youngest son Eric, along with his fiancee Anna build & install websites, as well as shoot & edit video and photographs for our clients.
