I worked in Corporate America for more than 25 years before leaving my career to join my husband Mike in building our Internet businesses.  Mike is a Musician and owned a Recording Studio business for more than 20 years in Norcross, GA.  My experience in sales, procurement, organization and office management coupled with his creativity and business sense helped us to start Soundpages.com, Inc. our web design company in the late 1990′s. We successfully assisted local businesses to gain a web presence that would advertise their products and/or services much like the Recording Studio had done with Radio & TV advertisements.

In 2003, Mike began speaking at Internet Marketing Seminars Worldwide.  We traveled to Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, and many USA locations during those years. We continued to service our website clients as well, but our focus became selling on-line audio & video solutions to Business Owner’s, Entrepreneurs, and Internet Marketer’s.  Training our new clients on the benefits of having an on-line TV show of their own that sold their items has always been the key to our success.

Traveling was fun & exciting, but we longed to do that just for fun & be home more at our beautiful house on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA.  Luckily we have made that transition!  We have rebuilt our website business and teach small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs and Individuals how to have a web presence that not only worked for them to make money, but is affordable and best of all THEY are in control of its content, design, updates and destiny.

After the initial site is developed and a client is ready to move forward to the next level he can teach them about audio & video tools. The experience of traveling around the world attending Internet Marketing events has helped to give us insight into what a local small Business Owner or Entrepreneur would really need for their website.

I am an avid Networker!  I’ve been attending networking meetings since 1987, when I first moved to the Atlanta area as a way to meet new people. I began by joining a local chapter of ABWA (American Business Woman’s Association).  As an active member of this group I learned how to network myself and ultimately our business. I’ve organized fund raising events such as fashion shows, wine tastings and product sales. These funds were used by the chapters to give scholarships to deserving people. When Mike & I launched Soundpages.com, we attended seminars, events, and networking meetings together to promote our business and continue to do so on a weekly basis.

As I mentioned,  we are a family owned and operated business. Our son’s Michael McCoy and Eric Stewart have traveled with us to Internet Marketing Seminars and work closely in the business assisting us with our clients needs. They take client photographs, shoot & edit video and record & edit audio for sites and seminars, as well as have their own interests & endeavors. Our daughter, Lindsey Stewart graduated GA State with a Spanish degree and does some sales & marketing for the business while teaching in Florida, her site is LindseyStewart.com.
